Any bookings made 6:00 PM or later are subject to an additional $20.00 "after hours" fee due to the fact that most performers would rather not be working into the evening.

Any cancelled checks will be subject to a $20.00 fee in addition to the regular fee providing the Office Manager allows the booking to be held.

Booking Procedures

All final bookings must be done by phone with a representative who will cater to your specific needs.  Once it is decided which performer you want, and the event day and time we will need general information such as the address and phone number of the party location, the address and phone numbers of the contact person (parent or person making the arrangements), recipients name and age, amount of children expected, etc. 

All bookings must be held with a non-refundable deposit.  A deposit of no less than 20% of the full amount is required for all bookings so we know we have your commitment as we are turning down any other bookings for that performer on that day and time.   Deposits may be put on a credit card at the time of bookings or may be sent in by check or money order.  Deposits that are mailed must be received no later than 5 days after the booking has been made or the booking will be cancelled.  Any checks mailed must be received at least 2 weeks before the show date.  Deposits received within 2 weeks of the event must be made by money order or put on a credit card. The remaining balance is to be paid to the performer at the show before it starts.  The entire amount may be paid in advance by credit card at the sole discretion Kids' Parties Inc. If the entire amount is paid by credit card there will be a 5% surcharge. Kids' Parties prices apply to bookings in the D.C. metropolitan area.  Areas located approximately 10 miles or more outside the beltway perimeter or within the city of Washington D.C. will be subject to an additional Travel Charge.  

Performers are required to call the customer at least 2 days before the party to confirm and go over details, head count and directions.  Performers may specify how (cash, check, or money order) they wish to be paid and when (before or after the show). Children's entertainment is a service related business and tipping is appreciated.

Cancellations And Late Bookings

In the event that you must cancel a performer, the deposit is the cancellation fee and will not be refunded unless authorized in writing by the office manager. If a performer is cancelled within one week of the scheduled engagement the full amount is due and payable to Kids’ Parties Inc. unless authorized in writing as well.
